The classic handbags that come out of Mary Allmann's home workshop are a must have!  The most interesting aspect of her handbags is that she makes all the patterns up in her mind, drawing them on paper and making prototypes.  They are truly unique.
    "I only make the bag once, so when somebody buys it, they know they are getting a one-of-a-kind original," Allmann said.
    Ten years ago, Allmann was trying to come up with something creative to produce, which other women would pay for, and handbags clicked in her mind.
    "In that time, I never saw one-of-a-kind, creative fabric handbags," she said.  Times sure did change, because Allmann is quickly approaching her 900th bag!--Stephanie Finnan
